Magic Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe from the 1970's
My mother in law taught my daughter to make these biscuits (cookies to my US readers) when she was young. Her cooking teacher was so amazed that you can make biscuits without any flour that he took them to the staff room to show them off.
Only half of them returned :)
This is a great recipe to make with small children, as long as you don't mind them eating ridiculous amounts of sugar afterwards :P
This recipe makes about 15 biscuits.

Onion Soup Hangover Cure Recipe from 1935

The tastiest (and only tolerable) vintage hangover cure that I have found is a classic, light onion soup. Thank You!! Liked and Subbed!!
Yeah good thing I found this video otherwise I wouldn’t be breathing
11 Years ago and yet saved me from my mothers shoe
LOL THIS IS SOO TRUE
@@itsHaileey ikr like i was trying to make dalgona with brown sugar and it stook to the pan and i was so stressed
@khxzra the same reason and I GOT GROUNDED FOR 14 DAYS but I stole my phone back :)
anyone here cause of squid game dalgona?
You saved my life🥹
Worked like a charm in 1 minute. Thanks!
Thank you I thought my mom would punish me!
Does turn out really hard and brittle and, crunchy
oh my god THANK YOU SO MUCH
I tried this recipe yesterday - it would not go to 300° F. After cooking 3 hours it was up to 250° and then the temperature went down to 240°. I kept at it for another hour but I knew it was a lost cause because it smelled burned and was a dark cocoa color. I followed the recipe except for having to stir it a few times to prevent boiling over. Now that I’ve seen the video I wonder if it burned because light brown sugar isn’t exactly like raw sugar. And the hours on the stove 😂 Yours looks really yummy. Sigh.
I tried this but it didnt work, anyone knows why? I got this tiny dots of black burnt sugar after making caramel on my saucepan. I think its because I stir the pot. please help me
Do u You heat the marshmallow to pour it
Here on Oct. 1, 2024. Thank you 😊. 👏 on the production value of your AV presentation.
Everyone here for caramel and I'm here for tanghulu😭
EXACTLY IDK HOW I MESSED UP THIS BAD
Fr
Yeah I tried to make spun sugar(failure cause it burned) and then though “why don’t I put cold water on it and ice” stupid.
i was making tanghulu lol
I’m wondering what the texture is of this version of butterscotch? Thanks for sharing 😊
Best totorial ever suger got off instantly
Tried to make tanghulu worked but...
Where did you go? 😭I absolutely adore you and I see this was from 11 years ago 😪🙏❤️
Thank you so much
Thanks you dont upload this know i gona deid u save me
Thank you u are a lifesaver I was gonna get screamed at by my parents😂😂
Omg this Women saved ass from my mom ❤
i love how tanghulu is a big reason as to why we’ve burnt the sugar 😭
i miss your videos, girl! you have an ASMR quality to your voice. Plus the food always looked good. Hope you are doing well!
ohh so i could use this for pouring cream? I'm american but when i run across australian or english recipes that use pouring cream, i'm at a loss lol. Looks yummy!
Hello from Spring 2024!
It is so irritating to try to find a recipe on UA-cam Only to be assaulted by numerous recipes that use European measurements. It's confusing.I don't like it.I wish youtube would stop doing this
😊😊😊😊😊
Gotta at it it it was the tanagalu 🤦🏻♀️
Wow that was easy. I used the wrong way to clean it using metal sponge (metal wool) on a non-stick pan 😅. Thumbs up gain +1
I want to make a Jell-O mold really tall, one for a prop on stage, and I wanted to stay could be warm weather well warmest of 70 Fahrenheit. Wonder if there’s anything I can put into it to make it more hard? Any suggestions?
Thank you I burnt my mom’s pot and I would have been killed if it wasn’t for you 😌😮💨
Hey, when did butterscotch become English confectionary???
So... Can you pour that down the drain!
THANK YOU SO MUCH OMG
Yes. Basic is right.
1:04 Dried Apricots, nutmeg and a tiny bit of sugar (one quarter of a tea spoon). Traditional for the spread is mustard, salt and pepper.
If you have hard cheese (so hard it is hard to grate) just submerge it into the milk (or water). Next day you can either use it on pizza, roasted vegetables or for such a spread. If the cheese has become hard it lost water, and that is soaked up again. The soft cheese melts very well.
JEEZ thank you so much! I make grape tanghulus but when i was about to wash the pot the sugar hardened! its so helpful! thank you so much
You do not put self raising flour for yorkshire pudding they will not rise and come out heavy and stodgy! sorry but they look dreadful.
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you create your dumplings. Very helpful and useful to. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too
How do you dispose of the water?? 😮😮😮
Rubbish😂
Can you make a 1961 recipe?
Crazy!! We were pretty poor - okay way poor - growing up and I remember my mom eating onion sandwiches so the 'real food' she could come up with could be for my sister and I... I'll have to give this a go. Yeah... things are still 'tough'.
HELP- THABK YOU SO MUCH. I HAD TO MWKE TANGHULU FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT AND JUST BURNT IT. I DO NOT WAJT TO GET IN TROUBLE. YOU ARE AN ANGEL, MAAM!
