Magic Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe from the 1970's
My mother in law taught my daughter to make these biscuits (cookies to my US readers) when she was young. Her cooking teacher was so amazed that you can make biscuits without any flour that he took them to the staff room to show them off.
Only half of them returned :)
This is a great recipe to make with small children, as long as you don't mind them eating ridiculous amounts of sugar afterwards :P
This recipe makes about 15 biscuits.

I tried this recipe yesterday - it would not go to 300° F. After cooking 3 hours it was up to 250° and then the temperature went down to 240°. I kept at it for another hour but I knew it was a lost cause because it smelled burned and was a dark cocoa color. I followed the recipe except for having to stir it a few times to prevent boiling over. Now that I’ve seen the video I wonder if it burned because light brown sugar isn’t exactly like raw sugar. And the hours on the stove 😂 Yours looks really yummy. Sigh.

If you have hard cheese (so hard it is hard to grate) just submerge it into the milk (or water). Next day you can either use it on pizza, roasted vegetables or for such a spread. If the cheese has become hard it lost water, and that is soaked up again. The soft cheese melts very well.
